The shawl possesses exuberant medley of colors, I counted fourteen but I believe there are more subtle tones as well: deep saffron, two tones of madder red, orange, pink, light blue, dark green, light green, teal green, white and black. Overall the shawl has a freshness and vitality remarkable for its age.
